DiZaRkY
Quick question. Got the newest version of apache web server with ssl, and for some reason i can only get it to view on my lan. the ports are forwarded correctly, mainly because at the same time i did a vent server that CAN be accessed outside of the lan. The domain address is www.fireproofpcs.com and i have it set to the router ip with the port forwarded to the lan computer on port 80. any thoughts? trq
Could be any number of issues but if the site is available from within your LAN, than this is likely not an Apache issue. Is your ServerName directive set to www.fireproofpcs.com within your Apache configs? DiZaRkY
yeah, it is. i guess it's not an apache error, because every other web server i've used has done the same thing. is there something else that needs to be done to the router or something? it's not a firewall issue, and i'm not sure what else it could be. StormTheGates
Uhm are you sure your Apache is listening on port 80? Check the conf file. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/105093-website-not-responding/#findComment-541208 Share on other sites
