ninedoors
I would like to have the users of my website log in to my site. On my site I have a forum and would like to use the same username and password for the whole site rather than having the user create one for each. I am using SMF forum software. I have looked at the Mysql members table that contains the usernames and passwords for the forum and understand that no problem. But when I tried to look at the PHP script that inserts the username and password for he forum I can't understand. I know this forum uses SMF or it looks that way, has anyone here tried the same thing? I can upload the insert script if anyone needs to see it. Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/107730-using-existing-forum-members-table/ Share on other sites
.josh
I believe SMF offers site integration functions etc.. you should go to their website and check it out. Moving to 3rd party forum. Daniel0
I've written a bit about how we did it here: http://www.phpfreaks.com/blog/the-creation-of-the-new-site Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/107730-using-existing-forum-members-table/#findComment-552443 Share on other sites
