I'm on a quest to become a web developer, and I'm going to be getting some books on some languages and stuff that I'm poor at. I was considering Perl, but I don't know much about it. Considering I'm pretty fluent with PHP, is Perl worth learning? Is it commonly used in web development? What about the similar languages (Python, Ruby)? Thanks.
