otuatail
Can anyone shead light on this. I have a hosting provider streamlinenet. and there is obviously shared hosting on the pc. I went to one of my web pages that had 4 <table> this information was taken from 4 seperate tables in a mysql database. On one occasion I noticed one of these <tables> was blank. On further investigation I found the mysql table totaly blank. I dont mean no rows the rows where there but all (text fields) empty. Is this a problem that that exsists with shared hosting. Need to find out what caused this. from you guys because they will just plead not guilty. Desmond.
fenway
How could we possibly guess why the host is acting funny? Besides, are you sure it's not just the front-end?
otuatail
No not realy as All this page does is SELECT * table1. There are 4 queries. No UPDATE or INSERT. So how can this cause a table to have empty string values. There has to be something going on on the server but I am not an expert. I was wondering if any kind of clash on a shared server could cause this. I can't explain it. But it is happening
