divadiva
Experts I am using http://www.tizag.com/phpT/fileupload.php to upload files. Creating a form in which we can select files was preety straightforward.Thing I am not clear is how to upload the file? So far I have done this: <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="uploader.php" method="POST"> <input type="hidden" name="MAXFILESIZE" value="100000" /> Choose a file to upload: <input name="uploadedfile" type="file" /><br /> <input type="submit" value="Upload File" /> </form> The unclear part is : $target_path = "uploads/"; $target_path = $target_path . basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']); if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['uploadedfile']['tmp_name'], $target_path)) { echo "The file ". basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']). " has been uploaded"; } else{ echo "There was an error uploading the file, please try again!"; } I dont know where to specify the folder name.My folder name is test. Can anybody help me with this. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/110799-uploading-files/ Share on other sites
corbin
$target_path is the directory where you want the uploads to be stored. Also, the files will be named what ever they were named on the uploader's computer, so you might wanna watch out for filename collisions.
