monkeytooth Posted June 20, 2008 Share Posted June 20, 2008 I know its possible to detect browser type for things like IE, FF, Opera, Safari, etc... but is it possible to detect PDA's, Cellphones, Smartphones, etc? and if so, can I determin which if any? Mostly coding a site that I am going to use a preloading script for. Where if it finds a certain browser set (older slightly unsupported browsers) it goes to a diffrent aspect of design thats more browser compatiable. Now thing is I want to do similar in concept for Cellphones, Smartphones, PDA's, Blackberrys etc etc etc.. So is it possible? And where could I begin to learn more about it? anyone got something already built up that I can work with or use as a base?
