Apache - Runnning two servers simultaneously on same machine

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

Need to do a migration from 1.3.x to 2.6 with minimum downtime. But cross version modules issues will be a problem. Can I run these two versions independently on the same box. So the production facility remains up while testing the newer?

Thanks!

For the benefit of others

V. 2.29 at least makes accomodation for this by installing in different base directories etc so that libs & execcutables are not clobbered. Different default ports have to be set however - 80 & 443
