Live Streaming

Hi all,

A client of mine has asked me to look into setting up a live video stream through his website so that only members can view it.
I dont think ill have a problem setting up the access to it with PHP but im not sure how to feed the video through.
He has bought a couple of high definition webcams which are mounted in the appropriate place and these are linked through to his computer.
Does anybody have any advice?

Many thanks!!

You can download Microsoft Media Encoder for free. You'll have to get a static IP, and a camera (w/ or wo/ microphone). It's not a quick learn, but not that difficult. If you want to take this route, download the software, look through it and ask me questions. I don't want to go through all the details if you're not going to do this, but if you do, only the people you give out the url to will know where to go to watch.
