Inventory Program

I'm opening my own business here in PR.

 

The business is going to for a  Speed Shop. selling racing aftermarket parts.

 

Now, I need a software or program for my inventory on hand.

 

I would like something simple fast search with invoice, price and basic Inventory Management.

 

Anyone here knows where I can find something for my business.

C++, C, Java, PHP....

 

What type of interface do you want?  Do you want it to be a website?  Do you want it to be a standalone GUI?  What do you want?  Vague question, vague answer.

Hey wasssup.......

 

Im looking for something to start off like to:

 

create invoice, do inventory control like invoice management, stock balance management, goods management, goods category management, staff sales records management.

 

It would be nice to have something fast, accurate and simple.

 

I can do the inventory few ways: Just thinking How I want to do the inventory.

 

1. By brand 2. By Make and Model 3. By Department

 

***I don't  want to be connected online for this***

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't even know where to start or what language to code it in, doesn't this seem like a large project?

 

It would probably be easiest to do in Java if you're avoiding using a web interface.  Unless your database is on the computer your running the program on, you're going to atleast have to connect over a LAN....

 

 

 

I think you have the wrong idea about how to store your items....  Look into database normalization, and try to apply that to your situation.
