[SOLVED] Menu layer appears over lightbox photo - Need a Fix.

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm working on a website for a friend of mine, and I'm having a difficult problem. When people go to the photo gallery, select a gallery, they are taken to:

http://www.glofishforum.com/sept212007.php

*Excuse the url, it's a testing site I use for new projects

When people click on an image the photo appears using lightbox 2.0, but the menu appears above the photo, kind of like a layer, why is it doing this?

Here is a screenshot:

I know my code isn't the best, and I know I have some coding issues with FireFox, but 98% of the website visitors use IE, so my focus is IE.

Can anyone give any tips/hints/clues?

I apologize in advance if this should be posted in the JS forum section.

Interesting lightbox nor the drop down menu css have z-index properties.

Perhaps I can just push z-index in the lightbox css???

If that is the case, I wonder where I could insert it?

#lightbox{	position: absolute;	left: 0; width: 100%; z-index: 100; text-align: center; line-height: 0;}
#lightbox img{ width: auto; height: auto;}
#lightbox a img{ border: none; }

#outerImageContainer{ position: relative; background-color: #fff; width: 250px; height: 250px; margin: 0 auto; }
#imageContainer{ padding: 10px; }
