Zend PHP Certification

I have known what Zend PHP Certification is for as long as I can remember, but only until recently have I actually looked into it. I looked around and found some example topics and questions. I asked around in irc.freenode.org #php about what people's opinions on it are. I get mixed feelings. Some people say that it's pointless, some say that it is a good thing to have. Some say it's as pointless as an A+ Certification, but some say it's a nice thing to put on a resume.

 

If you were HR and saw Zend Certified on someone's resume, would you disregard it? Would you laugh because someone actually took their time and paid for a useless cert?

 

In general, what are your thoughts about obtaining the Zend Certification? Any opinions are welcome.

 

(If you're FOR it, could you supply some example questions or a link to anywhere that would help in the long run? Thanks )

I'm actually looking into getting training from Zend also.  Not for certification, but just to learn PHP, and program personal projects.  Have you taken any course from them?

Brandito, there is a link with some video tuts about that from php|architect around on the internet that are meant specifically for the ZCE test. Try to search around on Google and you might be able to find the link.
