cleary1981
Hi, just a quick question. I'm completely new to this so apologies if sound completely stupid. I am writing an application using html and javascript for my frontend and using php to query a database that is held on the server. Will someone connecting over vpn be able to access it just as someone in the office would? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/113043-solved-connecting-over-vpn/ Share on other sites
ratcateme
i think so but isn't this more a server question rather than a php question shouldn't access control be set at the server level? Scott. Wolphie
Yes, this is possible. I quite often have to access our intranet from home through a VPN. Though unless you have very important documents on the intranet database, it really isn't worth the hassle.
