[SOLVED] You don't have permission to access /index.html on this server.

I installed wamp, the latest version.

 

I went into httpd.confg and changed the document root to my projects directory...

DocumentRoot "f:/work-related/websites/"

 

I have an index.html file in this directory.

 

I restart all services.  When I goto http://localhost/index.html I get...

403 Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.html on this server.

 

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks!

I think there's like, a Deny from all line in some WAMP configuration file.  Look for it or Google it.

It must be something else. 

 

I did notice some sections like this in my httpd.confg...

    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
</Directory>

 

Am I close?  Any ideas?

I changed the access and AllowOverride so you can use .htaccess files too.
