[SOLVED] You don't have permission to access /index.html on this server.

I installed wamp, the latest version.

I went into httpd.confg and changed the document root to my projects directory...

DocumentRoot "f:/work-related/websites/"

I have an index.html file in this directory.

I restart all services.  When I goto http://localhost/index.html I get...

403 Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.html on this server.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks!

Thanks for your response.  My wampserver.conf file is simply this...

<?php

$apacheConf['apacheExeDir'] = 'bin';
$apacheConf['apacheConfDir'] = 'conf';
$apacheConf['apacheExeFile'] = 'httpd.exe';
$apacheConf['apacheConfFile'] = 'httpd.conf';
$apacheConf['apacheServiceInstallParams'] = '-n wampapache -k install';
$apacheConf['apacheServiceRemoveParams'] = '-n wampapache -k uninstall';

?>

It must be something else.

I did notice some sections like this in my httpd.confg...

<Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
</Directory>

Am I close?  Any ideas?  :)
