qozmiq Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 I am moving a typo3 site to a new host. I am new to t3, and to databases. I know nothing about them. I needed to export the database from the old server, and import to the new server. When I do this...command line...it is looking to access the database with the new db information, even though the old db is using different username and pw. On my old host backend, it autonames the db user based on what the db name is. They are the same. So how can I get my new server to access the database under it set user and pw, instead of the new servers info? I hope this made even a tad bit of sense.
