silvermice Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 ok so I decided I want to find a way to open a .php site on my computer without using external host, I started going through ways of doing this and so far I'm on mysql and phpmyadmin ( tried some other things with complete failure such as microsoft visual web developer ) anyway. I got mysql installed and phpmyadmin but I can't figure out how to get pagest such as C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\phpMyAdmin\scripts\setup.php to view properly in a explorer so I cn setup phpmyadmin ofc. As I said I"m 100% noob when it comes to mysql closest I've gotten is lpaying with the sql tables within a phpmyadmin off a paid hosts cpanel. if anyone understands those half scrambled thoughts I'd appreciate help, I can connect to it via mysql command line client and everything, just clueless what to do next or w/e I'm on windows xp home edition. sorry if this isn't the place to post questions such as this but its the first place i've found remotely close to what I need help with I think idk i'ma shut up now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
