bholub
Sometime after PHP 5.2.1 was released, SOAP began crashing on a fairly regular basis in the application I work on. The server is running gSOAP (and not the latest version by any means) and may be partly responsible. However, even if the server is acting unexpectedly the client should not be crashing... It doesn't crash 100% of the time, and using SSL seems to increase the problem ten fold. We develop and deploy on windows (crashes with IIS and Apache), but I've reproduced the crash on an ubuntu machine as well. It's been a while since I've had any time to look into this... and I've never delved into the PHP core code, but I'm prepared to go there. If anyone can provide any of the following things, it would help get me started: 1) place to download older windows binary packages (5.2.4 is the oldest on php.net) 2) instructions on building php on windows (which i've heard is nightmarish) 3) anything else? If anyone thinks that they can actually solve my problem, I am absolutely willing to negotiate a (small, but whatever I can manage) reward. PHP is slowly dying here (McAfee), and this SOAP issue is a big reason why Thanks in advance, BH Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/116307-soap-crash/ Share on other sites
