Presto-X
Hello guys, I am not sure if this is possible or not but I'm working on a site and my client is using some third party software that can export their database to a .xlsx file, I want to know if php can query/read a .xlsx file and get information out of it and display it to the site? I did a search on google for php parse xlsx and did not really find much, I found a lot of sites talking about how to use php to save information as a .xlsx file. Any help would be greatly appreciated! As I have never tackled anything like this before, thanks guys.
kemper
That's third party, your topic will be moved and forgotten. Sorry, but this site is not for help anymore!
DarkWater
That's third party, your topic will be moved and forgotten. Sorry, but this site is not for help anymore! No, it's PHP-related. Third-party is someone asking about how to fix something in phpBB or Joomla! or something like that. And I think Microsoft uses some weird XML-type structure in their Office 2007 products with new file extensions. Ask your clients if they can export as a csv or a normal xls file. Presto-X
No luck :'( the software only lets you save it as one of 3 things word, excel, or a pdf... That's third party, your topic will be moved and forgotten. Sorry, but this site is not for help anymore! ??? Is phpfreaks.com selling something now? Why is my question related to php? I thought phpfreaks.com was for php programmers to share knowledge about the php language, ahh I'm confused...

Don't worry about it, he was being sarcastic about how mods move a lot of topics nowadays. Honestly don't worry about it.
