I've got a field in my mysql database that stores a product discription listin all its features, but when i echo it it returns it all in one line instead of each other, but when i echo it in a textarea it displays correctly. How can I fix this?

<?php
mysql_connect("localhost","root","");
mysql_select_db("products");
$sql=mysql_query("select * from tbl_product where product_id like '$_POST[product_id]'");

while ($row=mysql_fetch_array($sql)){
echo "$row[description]";
}?>

echo "$row[description]"."\n";
}?>

New lines (\r\n \n or \r) are not displayed, you need to use the <br /> tag to display a new line.

echo "$row[description]<br />\n";
