playaz Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Hi guys, I am looking for a lightweight shopping cart script which can be easily modified - cubeCart, osCommerce are all too 'bloated' for my requirements. I am ideally looking for a decent OO based shopping cart script for adding items to a cart including products that have various sizez (eg Trainers..) tibberous Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Not sure how you are running the payments, but don't think you 'have' to use a shopping cart for eCommerce sites. I made my own that is nothing more than a few static pages, an account create screen, account summary screen, checkout screen, database and a few calls to the linkpoint API. ardyandkari Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 if you dont want "bloated" scripts, build your own... or, if you like, paypal has ways to make static pages link to a paypal db which stores all of your info there. that way, you put a link up...no php, just html...and your user just has to click.
