[SOLVED] degradation of js pop-ups with js turned off

Hi,

 

I am definitely a complete newbie to js and a fairly big newbie to php so I was wondering -

 

If I create some pop-up labels on hover in js and someone has javascript turned off will they just not work or will there be some sort of error that causes the page to crash. 

 

I would rather use CSS because it seems cleaner but from what I have read there is not support in all the browsers.

They will just now work.  You could set title tags though, and that would kind of help.
