scarhand
i have a php scripts that loops 700,000 times, and does an insert query for each time now as you can imagine this is taking a long time i have set set_time_limit(0) in the php script, so the script itself is not timing out however, the browser is saying "done" when it isn't anywhere close to done, and just stops running the script is there a class or script out there that can help me with this so that i can just leave the browser on for hours until its done executing? abdfahim
You should use the following line at the top of your execution page if(!ini_set("max_execution_time", "2400")){ //2400 is in second, you can change it throw new Exception("Failed to set execution time"); }
