php and mysql error

Hi,

 

Been working on this way too long now and decided it was time to ask for help...

 

Can you see the syntax error in this code?

 

$rlemail = $vbulletin->db->query_first("SELECT email FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user WHERE userid = " . $vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] . ) or die(" rlemail error: $userid" . mysql_error());

i suggest that you single-quote ALL fields in your SQL. it can also help if you build your SQL outside the query action so you can echo it to see what can be obvious:

 

$sql = "SELECT email FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user WHERE userid = '" . $vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] . "'";
$rlemail = $vbulletin->db->query_first($sql) or die(" rlemail error: $userid" . mysql_error(). " sql: $sql");

now all im getting is a completely white...blank page.

 

no errors or anything
