[SOLVED] How can I trim these?

I'm trying to trim this line:

$customer_field_values[] = '\'$_POST['.$row_customer_fields['field_form_name'].']\'';
?>

 

Something like so:

 

<?php
$customer_field_values[] = trim('\'$_POST['.$row_customer_fields['field_form_name'].']\'');
?>

 

Here is more of the code it's in if needed:

$query_customers .= "VALUES (".implode(",",$customer_field_values).") ";

Not sure if it will work like this.. If not, what do I need to change??

Wait, what in the hell is that line supposed to be doing?

 

$customer_field_values[] = $_POST[$row_customer_fields['field_form_name']];

 

That's probably what you're looking for on that line.  Then the trim() is easy.
