[SOLVED] mysql password?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, (I am as new as it can get)

There was no password for mysql and I changed mysql password from phpmyadmin and I made

localhost

root

mypasswd

The things is now I can not access phpmyadmin. It gives this error:

Error

MySQL said: Documentation

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Obviously phpmyadmin is still trying to use "using password: NO". But since I changed mysql password to "mypasswd" it doesn't open. How will I open Phpmyadmin window?

I don't even know how to change the password from mysql console. Can you help?

Thanks in advance.
