Hi all,

I've just become confused at reading an email from a client ,

I had written them an email that I had seen a post on a forum where they need help with a project, and if they still needed help...

They then replied by saying "Please write a contract that reflects the project that we need done", then they explained what exactly what they wanted.

I have no idea what they been by suddenly telling me to write a contract reflecting on the project.... does this mean a legal contract??? Or something different all together???

Please note I'm not from America and they are so this may be some american thing, not sure

Any help appreciated....

Typically you should be signing a contract for any business you do with a client.  It should outline fees, when you get paid and how, timeline, what they own, what you have copyright over, etc.

That's not an American thing... is a business thing.
