Andy17
Hey there freaks! I have a submit form on my website where users can write in text and add it to my MySQL database. I was just thinking that if they press the Enter key, this is shown in the database, but when I withdraw the row, that space is not shown in HTML. Therefore, I was thinking if there is a way to replace those spaces with a <br> tag. I guess you could use the str_replace() function, but I am not sure what to put in there (how to tell PHP to replace a hit on the Enter key with <br>). I hope you guys can help me out! Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/123106-solved-form-spaces/ Share on other sites
JasonLewis
nl2br() is what you are after. I'm guessing you mean line breaks. Or you can use str_replace() and use PHP_EOL as the search and replace it with the HTML line break. But nl2br() is much easier.
