horseatingweeds Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I exported some tables off a database using phpmyAdmin on my test environment, Apache on Win. I then imported it into the same kind of database on a Linux server. All the character such a slashes and apostrophes turned into question marks. Anyone know what's happening here? snk Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 if you opened your dump file with a text editor it might been saved to an other encoding. if you did it try to make backup again and import it without opening. This is what is coming to my mind right now.
