horseatingweeds Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I exported some tables off a database using phpmyAdmin on my test environment, Apache on Win. I then imported it into the same kind of database on a Linux server. All the character such a slashes and apostrophes turned into question marks. Anyone know what's happening here? snk Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 if you opened your dump file with a text editor it might been saved to an other encoding. if you did it try to make backup again and import it without opening.
