Jolen Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Hello, My Nae is Jolen, I have a few sites and decided one day to buy this site. what the person did not say till i told him i wanted to move it to my host was you have 5 days. so i did the best i could for never moving a running site. and before you ask yes i got the date base it is installed in phpmyadmin just like the old host had it. now on to what my problem is. I get an error when i got to the sites index. Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'surfa_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I don't know much about mysql databases. but the old host was called surfa and mine is not so to me it looks like the user name is the old on but I'm not sure and can not find how you would change that. any help would be appreciated.
