ballhogjoni
I hope this isn't confusing, i don't know how to ask this question. Heres my explanation and question: I want to add 1 to an integer on a mysql update. first is there a way to do this without SELECTing the data, adding 1, and then UPDATEing the data. Basically I want to add 1 to a column and update in one query instead of two. My query so far: mysql_query("UPDATE Offers as o, Members as m SET o.entries = '".$entries."'+1 WHERE m.user_name = '".$_GET['user_name']."'") or die(mysql_error()); the problem is that I will never know what the $entries value is unless I select it from the db first.
