careym1989
Hello again, PHP Freaks! Could someone point me out to a tutorial that would catch all inserted news stories into an archive and give them a file name under the subdirectory /archive/? For example, a story with the ID of 1944 would be located in full at: www.mydomain.com/archive/1944.php Thanks a lot! -Carey Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/124990-news-story-archival/ Share on other sites

JasonLewis
Or you could just use mod_rewrite to rewrite the URL behind the scenes to www.mydomain.com/archive/archive.php?article=1944 but the user would still see www.mydomain.com/archive/1944.php Look up some mod_rewrite tutorials, it's quite nifty.
