xtopolis
If I have a directory structure such: [main (./)] (public) | index.php |__ [hidden (./hidden)]CHMOD 700 script.php another.php And I want to have index.php ajax enabled to make calls to script.php, in order to access functionality inside that page that I don't want to be access publicly... but I receive 403 Forbidden errors. Now, obviously, 403 is what I would expect trying to access it via the FQDN/hidden/script.php But in my ajax I'm calling it as simple /hidden/script.php... So is there a way using ajax to access my local folders that aren't publicly viewable? Or do I have to use a workaround/(if do it at all) of using a php script in (./) to access those /hidden/ pages? corbin
AJAX is simply a web request wrapped in Javascript. If you can't go to it in your address bar, you usually can't get it with AJAX. ;p Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125860-ajax-call-to-local-page-in-folder-with-chmod-700/#findComment-651504 Share on other sites
