Javascript view source of iframe contents - Three question.

1)Is there a way to get the source of the contents of an iframe using javascript (or any client side app for that matter)?

2)Is a view source of any page possible at all using javascript (aside from the location.href = 'view-source:http://lalala.com/').

3)Can javascript view the source of a localhost page?

I don't mind using DOM, but I'm not too familiar with its workings. Any help on this would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
