ratcateme Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 does your site download a file to the server the give the user a link to download the file it downloaded from somewhere else? i don't see why you couldn't give the user the link the server used to get the file in the first place. chronister Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 The file should reside on your server... if your trying to force a file to download from server a(not yours) while the user is viewing on server b(yours), then I don't think that would work at all.. you need to have the file local to your server http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php/topic,212176.0.html here is a post about forcing a download.
