Intel e1000 Network Driver

Hi

I am using Intel e1000 ethernet driver and the system is used to netboot a diskless

external control box. We download the OS on the diskless box using tftp.

I recently noticed that the OS download hangs after starting and almost

finishing 50% of the download.

My system configuration on the host is GigE port and the diskless has a

10baseT port which is connected with a switch in between.

The confusing thing is that it works sometimes and randomly fails. Once I

get into the failed mode, I have to reinstall the e1000 driver to get it to a

working state. Any clues or ideas. Is there some setting that I can use to

work consistently ?

Thanks
