samona
Is it possible to connect one network card to two networks? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131210-2-networks-1-nic-card/ Share on other sites
Stooney
Physically, no. Unless your nic card has 2 ethernet ports (which I'm not sure I've ever seen). Virtually, you could probably set something up. You can however use 2 NIC cards and have each on it's own network. laffin
Yes, but under windows ya needs a third party application. which generally creates a virtual nic for yer machine. A few years ago, I used Sygate Office Networking. which made my pc into a router for the other 2 pcs. Under Linux, ya can assign more than 1 ip per nic Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131210-2-networks-1-nic-card/#findComment-681325 Share on other sites
Lamez
In windows, I created a network bridge, but I had two Ethernet ports on my mobo. That way I can play PS2 Online, but was still able to surf the net, and all I really did physically was run a Ethernet cable from my ps2 to my PC.
