Hello, I d/l a site from sourceforge , the site is FTS 1.0.2 and is written in php, (I have installed wamp) and the problem being it has no documentation or support whatsoever, I read the readme files, esp the one that says clean install.

It told me to go to the server, after uploading (which in my case is the www local host folder in WAMP. and type /install, and this would install my site and then do some other stuff.

 

When I went to http://localhost/install/install_fresh.php I got an error

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in D:\wamp\www\install\functions.php on line 317

 

Can any one help?

It means that the creator of the code most likely for a closing brace, }, before he finished the code.  Could also be unclosed quotes or missing semicolon on the last line.  What exactly do you mean by 'd/l a site'?  That just sounds to me like "I have no clue what I'm doing so I hope this works and makes me SUPER FAMOUS as the best web site maker in the world!". =/

I wud take it to a site that is geared for torrent trackers. There are too many scripts / functions for a person to go over and understand it all. Whereas a forum geared for tracker scripts, ya will find a number of users who have successfully installed and modded such script, as well as give ya a pros/cons to that script. take a look over at bvlist they may be able to help u as they try and support some of these unsupoorted torrent tracker projects
