Nice. However, their's just way to many fields when registering. Maybe narrowing it down won't make it seem so scary.

There are asterixes that indicate the required fields.

 

Extra text means extra translations.

 

But otherwise, yeah it's a good suggestion. I'll consider it.

 

It's open source so you could always set up your own version and make the changes, too.

The average user who comes to quickly register will be terrified by the form regardless what's required or not. The key is to get the users registered then if they're going to be active members, they'll probably want to update their profile with the extra information.
