I need help simply educational purposes as I am a newbie in photoshop, I need help creating the logo just like on predictify.com. I know the text but i am baffled by the logo part. help anyone? sorry if tihs isnt the place to put this but I see no photoshop help forum..maybe a future sub forum ? Chezshire Posted November 22, 2008 Share Posted November 22, 2008 Hi - To make a logo - create a new file - set your dimensions to the size of the cell or frame your going to build it to, set the resolution to 72 dpi. Then simply use the type tool to set make your logo and play around - if you want to do simple black text, type the word you want - say 'logoX', then double click it in the layers palette and assign the font your want to get a simple easy logo and then save it as a transparent gif (that means you cliked 'yes' on the transparent background option set to on when you first created the file), then in the type palette select the color you want it to be - the default is whatever color the foreground is.
