I have a php file which i can run via the broswer no problem and i recieve the email correctly and via the correct settings. So i set it up as a scheduled task in windows but i get this error: Any idea why i'm getting this? Is it looking at a different php.ini? I'm running: Windows Vista WAMP Web Server Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134031-sending-mail-works-fine-if-accessed-via-browser-but-not-cron/ Share on other sites
wwfc_barmy_army
For some reason it's looking at a different php.ini. If anyone knows how to change what php.exe looks at it'd be great. Thanks. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134031-sending-mail-works-fine-if-accessed-via-browser-but-not-cron/#findComment-697665 Share on other sites
corbin
It's coming across a PHP file earlier in the PATH file than the PHP binary is. (Or, if you're running it using a path, it's not finding the PHP one at all.) Try either updating the PHP inis in your path, or make sure the only PHP file it will read is the one you want it to read.
