RSP
Hi @ll! After googling for hours I landed in this great forum.... I am having some serious problems with our Website: It uses the rewrite mod whose behaviour is different depending on the OS. See the log: Windows server: 213.97.172.217 - - [24/Nov/2008:15:00:12 +0100] [www.webpage.com/sid#5e5148][rid#2ec4b60/subreq] (3) [perdir C:/AppServ/www/Webpage/] strip per-dir prefix: C:/AppServ/www/webpage/feeds.php/rss20/General/ -> feeds.php/rss20/General/ Linux server: 192.168.1.16 - - [24/Nov/2008:17:37:23 +0100] [webpage.ec/sid#821f058][rid#8494e18/initial] (2) [perdir /home/www/webpage.com/public_html/] rewrite 'feeds/rss20/productos/' -> '/feed.php?version=rss20&canal=productos' As I said, I've been googling and reading for hours but I still don't know how to get it working on the Windows Server as in Linux everything works fine. Could anybody please give me a lift? Thanks in advance, RSP
corbin
I personally don't see the problem. What exactly is the behavior on the WS03? It just doesn't do anything? Is mod_rewrite enabled?
RSP
Hi corbin. First let me say that the mod_rewrite is absolutely new for me. I never used it before... Our website has been developed by a specialised webdeveloper company. It has always been running on Linux servers and now, we took the whole site and "pasted" it on the Windows server and this is what's happening. The mod_rewrite is enabled. Did you notice the difference between the Windows and the Linux log? The URL 's are not interpreted in the same way. How could it be?
