king arthur
I have only just recently started using PHP and Apache on my own machine. Apache version is 1.3 running on XP Home. Everything seems fine except when my local PHP script reads in a flat file from a subdirectory in my htdocs directory. The script takes ages to run, a good 15 - 20 seconds or so, whereas on the webserver it is instant. If I delete the file the local script runs instantly too. Can anyone suggest reasons why this would be? The file is only about 30k.
