I have a university assignment to do involving PHP which I have no understanding of, I need to create a componant for a webpage that searches an RSS feed from another site and then generates HTML, I have no idea how to do this so any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm tearing my hair out over this.

Thanks

its a module on my course tht i struggle with, most of my modules involve flash animating and 3D modelling etc, we only rarely have to do programming and if we do its just basic HTML or CSS which i can do, but this year we are obviously having to learn more complicated programming but im struggling to understand it, hence asking for help lol.

Threads have been locked like this, where it is someone asking us to do your homework for you.

Use google, learn php, do the work. When you get a problem with using the PHP then ask us.

ok sorry if I didnt make myself clear, im not asking for someone to do the work for me, I was just hoping on some pointers on getting started, maybe a link to some tutorials that are relevant to this specific task as i havn't managed to find anything like that so far.
