maxfereneth
hello, i am trying to mount my first apache server, everything is ok, the server is running on localhost pretty well and it's seems it has no problems at all, but i want now to test the real thing, i want the server be able to accept inbound connections , so i was reading some guides through the internet and i found that i need a host adress, i went to no-ip.com and i registered a free host, but i'm stuck, i dont know how to configure the httpd file or the vhosts file. I'm studying the first year of engineering and altough i will probably look at this in a future, i was hoping someone could help me before ^^ thank you in advance Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134454-first-server-on-apache/ Share on other sites
trq
If you haven't modified your main httpd.conf or vhost configurations to run a localhost you shouldn't need to make any changes to Apache for it to serv requests made from the WAN. I can see your page 'hola borola'. So it is indeed working.
