The Little Guy
Do you think it would be safe to place the users email on every page, when they are logged in? Example: Provided Email: someuser@someprovider.com Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134940-displaying-email/ Share on other sites
rhodesa
define 'safe'? if it is only displayed when they are logged in, spam bots and web crawlers won't be able to find it Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134940-displaying-email/#findComment-702734 Share on other sites
The Little Guy
It is only displayed only when the user is logged into their account, and it is on every page (when logged in). The Little Guy
Do you think I would make users more comfortable if the email address was only on a page that showed their account info? trq
Probably. I know I as a mod occasionally get a question asking why users emails are still being displayed even after switching the option off. Have to let users know that only they can see there email address.
