ardyandkari Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 there is a program for ripping a dvd to your hdd called dvdfab. find it in a google search. you can then use handbrake to compress the video. used both. dvdfab takes about 10-20 minutes to rip the entire movie to the hdd, and handbrake can take an hour or two...the nice thing about handbrake is that if you have 8 movies ripped, you can put them in a queue so you just sit back and it encodes all 8 while you watch mythbusters.
