[SOLVED] Custom directory listing with mod_autoindex?

Recommended Posts

I read: http://perishablepress.com/press/2008/11/02/better-default-directory-views-with-htaccess/

I have the following in my .htaccess file:

# Set index options for directory listing
<IfModule mod_autoindex.c>
# Source: http://perishablepress.com/press/2008/11/02/better-default-directory-views-with-htaccess/
IndexOptions IgnoreCase FancyIndexing FoldersFirst NameWidth=* DescriptionWidth=* SuppressHTMLPreamble
# Set display order
IndexOrderDefault Descending Name
AddDescription "PHP Test" .php
</IfModule>

I am running XAMPP with Apache but it seems that the module 'mod_autoindex' is not loaded.

How can I check if the Apache module 'mod_autoindex' is loaded?

Also has anyone done something similar?
