I need help on rewriting my URL, what seems wrong with this code:

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING}

RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ index.php?college&page=$1 [NC]

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !college

RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ index.php?page=$1 [NC]

im new with the regular expressions coding,

this is the problem, when i call this url:

http://mysite.com/index.php?college&page=somecollege it will use this new url:

http://mysite.com/somecollege.html, this works fine but when i need to call this url:

http://mysite.com/index.php?page=somecollege without the college should also use the URL

http://mysite.com/somecollege.html,

i need a multiple condition to be put on the .htaccess.

can you help.

regards.
