james_4k2 Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Hi, I have a server which has CentOS installed and the GUI is disabled at the time of install. Now I have to backup the hard drive by taking image of it. But I dont know how to do it using command line and what application can be used for it? Initially I want to take the image and store it somewhere in the hard drive itself and then I will transfer the image to a windows system so that I can burn dvd using the dvd burner in my windows system. If any one have idea about how to do it, then please let me know.
