Select Lists and Arabic Languages?

random1

Recommended Posts

I have a select list that is grabbed from a database that looks like this:

ffafbe21630997.gif

I am using UTF8 for the foreign languages.

The select list has space at the bottom of the top box (due to the Arabic text entry).

What CSS can be applied here to vertically and horizontally center align text within a select list?

For one thing, text-align applies to block level elements only. But

even if you assign display: block to the select and option elements,

the texts probably won't be centered. The reason is that browsers use

their built-in routines for rendering form fields, and these routines

are affected by CSS rules to a limited extent only.

im not too clear what your trying to do so i dont have anything to reccomend off hand

After going to that link, my system was infected by spyware/malware. Now I have to do a restore. Mofo!!! Since my system was turned on, the ONLY sites I went to was Amazon, a Bank site and that image link above using FF2. Keep getting pop ups and locked me out of the Start button and Quick Launch.

odd i clicked it and got nothing like that

can't be 100% sure, but that was the ONLY site (imagebam.com) I checked out that would even pull anything like that.

I google imagebam.com, found this on a yahoo group, happened to others also and imagebam also admitted it, guess it just depends on which ad you just happen to get on the page, and for me, I hit the lotto:
